Hello friends and followers! As you can see I have been quite busy in the craft room creating cards using all of the freebies from December! The freebies are still coming along with some fabulous challenge wins which means more images and products from my wins to share with all of you! I had this card already created in my stash only needed to color up the image which I have done this weekend using my Copic markers.

Happy Birthday with The Papernest Dolls

 

Thank you to The Paper Nest Dolls for this adorable birthday image! I colored her with Copic Markers, penciled in some lemons on her dress, added some faux stitching around the image to match with the design paper. Used a few label punches to decorate some finishing touches and popped in some brads. I used the background image from  Whimsy stamps

Today we begin the second challenge of January on Tuesdays Color Challenge at The Outlawz Challenges! For this challenge we are to use the colors from the inspiration photo given plus the one already shown and add a twist. I added Green & Yellow and this adorable image from Pink Gem Designs called Birthday Unicorn. My card is digitally created using  Printshop 2.0 Deluxe. I am using the stock blue banner ribbon and floral frame from the software. The sentiment banner is from Touched By A Butterfly.

I have had these images in my stash for many years waiting the perfect papers and card to put them on. These images are from Digistamps4Joy. Unfortunately they are no longer selling their images, but I still adore them and have many more to share from being on their  design team. While making this card a song kept coming to mind, hence the title of this post.
