Baby Boy Gift Tag

Using one of my Digistamps4Joy digi images. I made a baby Boy gift tag to go onto the baby boy afghan I am working on at the moment. The challenge over on the DS4J blog is all about "NEW" so what better to pick than a newborn baby! This is the first card I have made in 8 months and I feel very rusty, to say the least.  My photographing skills are lacking along with my card making mojo, So when I get my hand made light box back together I will change out the photo with a better picture, as for the mojo well all I can say is practice, practice, practice!  :)

Transparent Copic Coloring at The Outlawz

For the Copic challenge this week at THE OUTLAWZ it is to color a transparent image. I am really new at using my Copic markers, I don't think I have 6 months under my belt. So when I found a YouTube video on how to color transparent images with Copic markers and the tutorial is free well you can guess what a happy crafter I was! I worked on this card today for the challenge. I really like the effect I will definitely use this technique when possible. Ready for my next challenge.. {giggles

It's A Girl! Card

I made this card to go with my elephant theme in the "It's A Girl! "diaper cake. I used Spellbinders dies in the Cuttlebug, and used this Digi image from (will post soon), and colored the image with Copic Markers!

Card Corner Challenge Week 2

For this challenge we had to use an animal plus four of these colors Brown, Blue, Gold, Green, Aqua, and Pink. The elephant image I found as a freebie digi somewhere.. I'll get back to ya on that one~!:) The balloons were made from my Cuttlebug die cut of tags. I practiced some more with my Copic markers when coloring the elephant.

Stamp & Scrap September Week #3- Faux Suede

In this card I thought this cute little baby shoe stamp would be great in suede! I border punched brown card stock for the lace effect, stamped colored and embossed the bear stamped image, and used my Cuttlebug for the die cut of the phrase.

It's a boy!

I am going to be a Great Aunt for the second time. I needed a card to go with the diaper cake I am going to make for my nephews baby. This is the card I came up with after searching for ideas for hours across the web. Used a border decorative lace punch, a stamped image of the baby on two different colors paper. Used Cricut cartridge for the circle and the flower, cuttlebug die for the sentiment.
