Spread Cheer with Handmade Cards

I had a few more children on my list to send cards to this year some of which are having health issues and this may very well be their last Christmas.

This season I wanted to give to others so I joined a group on Facebook called Show Them We Care and I have really been trying to do all I can which right now consists of just being able to send a handmade card.

I hope in the future to be able to help others with more needy families during the holidays especially.

Just Bling It!

This week we have a wonderful challenge for you at The Outlawz! We want you to break out the bling on some Greeting Cards! On my card I used Anne Fentons Santa image and a message that I had found in the Freebies section of The Outlawz!

Let It Snow!

Let it Snow at The Outlawz! Come join us for Letting it snow in the Greetings Challenges! Hope to see you there!

This card was made by my 17 year old daughter mostly. I guided her in where to place to things and the added snowballs, but for the most part this is her creation. ;) She's a natural!

Gift Giving

Monday Monday... and it's time for a super fun challenge at The Outlawz on the Greetings Team! Come show us your cards!

For this card my daughter wanted to try her luck at card making. She colored and designed most of the card. I added the sentiment and the snowflakes. She's a natural!

Extra Cards for Anysoldier

One of the Anysoldier junkies didn't make it in time for the holiday card swap and wanted to know if anyone would be willing to pitch in some cards to send to her so that she could still take part in some manner and have a variety of cards from across the nation to still be able to send to her soldier units. I volunteered to make some for her. It took me a few days before I stopped adding glitter to all the winter holiday cards I had been making and then I finally broke out these holiday stamps from Hero Arts Collectors Edition.

CFC Challenge at The Outlawz 2

Oh my goodness! If you have not stopped in at The Outlawz and taken part in the CFC Challenge then you do not know what you are missing! The above image is of the card I made using Anne's beautiful artwork on this digi image. For my card I colored the image with Copic markers added some holly embossing at the top layered the papers, used a decorative corner punch and the sentiment is from one of last years Christmas cards I had received and I punched it out and distressed the edges. I cannot wait to send this to family or friends!

CFC Challenge at The Outlawz!

What is CFC? It is the Creative Freebie Challenge! Look at this gorgeous image above of the card I made using Sandi's digital art. Using her image I tried some embossing,  paper piecing, added some pearls, some rhinestones and ended with this beautiful card that I am very pleased with!

Anysoldier Winter Swap Cards

I finally have my set ready to send to the hostess of the Anysolider.com Winter card swap. Thanks to all who helped make this set a success! Stay tuned for the cards I receive in return from the hostess.

Color Challenge "Mermaid" at CDAC

Yes, I know you see them! My husband asked why she had no nips she is a mermaid. So for fun I gave her nips. But for the challenge I made a make shift top to cover her. :) I gave her scales and added Stickles to give her some sparkle!
