Kit and Clowder June Marker Class- 1st Attempt

 

Such a beautiful scene..

I had a few marker issues on this 1st attempt. My marker left nice big dot blobs that kind of look like rocks right now. I tried to let them be happy accidents as Bob Ross would say. It is still fun to attempt to color up these beautiful images supplied by Kit and Clowder and top that off with the fantastic informative classes with tips and tricks are a must have!

Kit And Clowder December Marker Class

Happy New Years Eve!

Today I decided I would kick off my New Years resolution to make more time for myself by enjoying the Kit and Clowder December Marker Coloring Class. Oh boy, it’s been a while since picking up those Copic markers. I also had a few marker color issues, but I went with whatever I created. It was all about enjoying myself.

I missed my last challenge for my Tuesday Color team, I have not been making my posts right. I feel like I am chasing my tail most days not getting much accomplished. Ugh! My brain has been focused on job hunting. I landed a job now I have to get use to the life change an figure out a new groove for my hobbies. Stay tuned!

Hello friends and followers! Today I am sharing this little cutie from Patties Creations. She is the third of three images I won in the challenges at Patties Creations Challenges. When you scroll down you can find a link to the challenges on  the right side bar. I grew up reading my mothers Annie Oakley books so I tried to make her my version of Annie. I added 1/2 of the Outlawz Badge Silhouette to giver her a tall dark handsome stranger in the back ground. I colored her up using my Copic markers, the plaid paper is from Fun Stampers Journey. I have been trying to practice sunsets using my Copic Markers and I think this one turned out pretty good!

 I had this great holiday paper with winter birds and felt it was perfect for this image! 

For my card I layered the design paper over the teal paper and added the die cut frame I believe I received from Whimsy stamps under the layered papers to frame my image. If I find this die is not from Whimsy I will try to remember to correct my post.

Dragons Adventure

 

Thank you to Alyce with Kit and Clowder for offering such wonderful freebies to practice our coloring techniques. I ordered these huge greetings cards so I had to really work at filling in the spaces. I used the Martha Stewart edge punch for the scalloped edges and a die that I cut in half for each corner, the die is from a set from Spellbinders called Damask Motifs I had this wide ribbon it was just long enough to wrap around the card. I colored the image with my Copic Markers and attempted to follow the dragon scale coloring by looking off a photo. I imagine if I actually watch the Kit and Clowder class next time it will be so much better! :)

Today I sharing this image I received for free this year from Moonflower Stamps.  For my card I wanted to practice some techniques I learned in Kit and Clowder coloring classes. For this card I was practicing on the moon. This image did not have a moon, I added it in. I punched and embossed some circles to represent planets. I found these sparkly flower things in my stash that I won a good 15 years ago and never knew what to use them for, so they are on my banners, I glued in sequins here and there, added, red glitter to the hearts, some pink puff to her lips, and glitter glue on the emblem on her dress, and then felt like a space ship was in order, so I added a spaceship sticker to finish it off.
