Hey my friends! Today I had to share this beautiful project my friend and I made for one of her dear friends who recently married. We spent 22 long hours shopping and crafting to get this beautiful gift created. I believe it was time well spent, it is absolutely beautiful, and now I want one for myself. 

I would have shown you all sooner, but I had to wait for the gift to be received.

DoTerra Essential Oil Labels

Yesterday, a friend of mine came over to do some crafting. We had a fun 11 1/2 hours of shopping at Hobby Lobby and doing crafts. We were making a wedding gift for a friend of hers. While we were at it we whipped up these labels on my Silhouette Cameo for her bottles of Essential Oils. Once the wedding gift has been received I can post photos of their beautiful gift.

Bunny EOS Lip Balm Gift

My first bunny lip balm gift. I bought this .svg bunny file years ago. This year I finally decided to try it out since I joined the Easter Crochet Swap in the Friendship Crochet Group on Facebook. My first attempt below did not go so well. I trimmed it up with scissors and only used one piece of it. To fix my issues I set the Silhouette Cameo 1 setting from the recommended 3 for card stock to 5 and set it to cut twice. The results above! 

I don’t like to waste a thing, so I am going to go ahead and use it since my theme for this gift is in lavender. I added google eyes, had to draw in my own whiskers, and cut a heart from some scrap papers. 

Here they are completed. I will definitely make more of these. So very simple and a great addition to any gals Easter basket!

Hello friends and followers! I wanted to take this time to show you one of the gifts I made my daughter in law for Christmas. It is a customized glass cutting board. A glass cutting board? You ask. That is right! It is great for cheese! :)

Cookies for Santa Charger

Hey there friends and followers! 

My daughter sends me a text Thursday afternoon, "I need a gift for Dirty Santa for my Christmas Party at work!I have no money, what can I do?" I replied, "How about a plate/charger that says Cookies for Santa?" she replies "That would be cute, do you have a charger?" and what do you know, I just so happen to have a couple I have been saving for this very project idea! I whipped up the design with my Silhouette Cameo software, and within minutes and a few air headed mistakes we had her gift ready to go! She texts me later in the evening to tell me she is keeping the plate for her self, and not going to stay at the party very long. LOL! I knew she wouldn't want to give it away. This year is her first Christmas not only in her own apartment with her own tree, but with her boyfriend! I told her I was glad she didnt because I would like to add reindeer names going around the edge. I had been thinking of it every since she left out of here! 

Personalized Batman T-shirt

Last of the Batman themed T-shirts for my 3 Great Nephews. This is a one layer and turned out perfectly! I know the boys will love their new shirts! Time to work on a few crochet items. I wasn't kidding when I stated that I dabble in an assortment of crafts! :)

My first time layering up 3 layers, and on both sides. :( my Robin symbol and the name took on too much heat. I need to use my heat press more so I can get better at this. This is a gift for one of my little great nephews.

Dr Who Custom T-shirt

Hey there friends and followers! 

I bring you a custom shirt I made for the birthday boy in my family that likes Dr Who. He was home when I was making it, and caught me in the process. He made sure that I knew the bow tie does not go with this Dr Who saying. But I hadn't seen the show so I went off of what I had researched in T-shirt designs for Dr Who. Oh well, what do you do! It probably wont fit him anyways. He is a tall young man and seems to think he wears a medium, so this is a medium, I am saying to myself there is no way. But we will find out in a few days, on his birthday! :) 

Carpenter Rules

Hey there crafty friends! Today I am sharing a shirt I designed for a Carpenter. We own and operate a cabinet manufacturing company and through the years we have discussed buying shirts for all the guys in the shop. It was the main reason my hubby agreed to purchasing my first Cricut cutting machine, he wanted me to make all sorts of things for his business. I never did with the Cricut my machines blade from the start were not working well with vinyl. 

It was a few years later all the rave was on the Silhouette Cameo machine, and its blades were nice and sharp! I have made 3 shirts this year for the hubby's business. Eventually all the guys will have their own shirt with its own quirky little saying on the back. I still have a few bugs to work out, for instance in this design the shirt is a 4X, I wish I had made the banner larger, for that size shirt it kind of looked a little small, but hey I am sure the employee will have it stained up and dirty before you know it and he will need another! My goal is to make each guy 5 shirts, one for every day of the week during warm months, and then I will need to make winter shirts, and hats you name it! The ideas are endless, thanks to Pinterest! LOL! 

Time to get a few more rows in on my hubby's afghan, I need little side projects like this shirt to keep me from going bonkers due to crochet afghan overload! Until next time, much love and craftiness to you all!

Master Carpenter T-shirt

The last few days I have been working on this T-shirt layout. I am making this one for my husbands business. He owns and operates a cabinet shop here in the Edmond, OK area. For years he has asked me to make shirts, but I was overwhelmed and felt I needed more practice. This week practice smak-tice I am going to attempt this!

First shot I cut too deeply but I didn't want to waste my pieces so I pieced it all on to the shirt.  That is why you see all the strips of heat tape, I was trying to hold my design and all its pieces together. I wish I had not done that, because in the process of moving the shirt from one spot to another my pieces became unaligned. I attempted straightening during the process but it was too late. I should have fixed the issue by starting over so that my colors would each be on one full sheet nicely aligned and one time shot at removal.

 It still looks great even if it is a little off, which if my husband wasnt wearing it would drive him crazy to look at, good thing this shirt is for him! LOL!

This evening my husband brought it to my attention that one of our employees will have been with us 6 years! He wanted me to make a cheesy certificate. I said I have even better idea! I will make him a T-shirt. What a catchy T-shirt it is I might say. I also managed to find a printable certificate online!
