Prismacolor Pencils on Kraft paper with Maria Castro

I was invited to a coloring challenge on New Years Eve. I accepted the challenge at the 2022 Countdown - Color My Moods Coloring Calendar event on Facebook.

Every hour she would tell us what color to color the next flower so by the end of the night we would have a finished calendar colored up. I had been wanting to try my pencils on Kraft paper. Since I have been mesmerized by the latest art of Dot Painting Mandalas onto Christmas ornaments that I seen posted on Facebook by a friend I have known 35 years. I also searched this craft all over Pinterest I decided to make the center of my flower a mandala pattern. I am very pleased with the turn out of my calendar.

I entered this calendar in the “Anything Goes” challenge at

Challenge Ends January 20th

Anne & Sandy Digi Calendar 3

Here's my calendar page for March trying to stay with the theme of using Anne & Sandi's Digi's. For this calendar I only used one of Anne's digis, the mushrooms and found the Leprechaun on the internet here. The shamrocks were cut using the Cricut machine.

Calendar Fun.. I can't stop Myself!

Oh why didn't I think of this last year? These calendars are such a simple and great idea! I redesigned the calendar I made for The Outlawz Copic Challenge. I changed the ribbon and gave him some patterned paper that I added photo corners so that each month can be changed. I have two calendars in the making so far.

HM Calendar Jan 2013

House Mouse stamps are some of my very favorite! Over at Paper Craft Planet they are challenging us in the HM & Friends Group to use our HM (House Mouse) stamps to make a calendar to be finished by the end of year to give as a gift next holiday season. In my calendar I added photo corners to a piece of scrap paper so that the months can be changed out using the one page.

Calendars at The Outlawz

What a fun crafty project to do through the year! My New Years resolution just happened to be to make one handmade Christmas present a month so that by next Christmas I will have 12 gifts to give. This fabulous challenge at The Outlawz couldn't have been a better idea! I wish I would have thought of it! But I will be playing with the gals in the Copic Challenge! The image used is from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs. If you haven't been to The Outlawz, you should come join us!
