Happy Valentines Day!

I am sharing this card that I made with this adorable Teddy image I have had in my stash for many years. It was time to make a purge! I used my Copic markers to color it up. They need some refilling, tip replacements, and cleaning so they have been a challenge, let me tell you. But this isn’t about me this is about enjoying this day and sharing a little love with you, Teddy Love.

This image makes me think of Vintage Valentines, it is from Digistamps4Joy. 

 I really enjoyed making this one. I colored this image with Copic markers. It is fun, feels nostalgic to me. Tomorrow is Valentines Day 2024! I hope you find your own special way to enjoy the day!

I want to share another Valentines Card. This one using this cute canning jar of sweet heart conversation candies. I have had this image in my stash for many years, printed and ready to be colored up. I finally decided to purge my stash of any image that can be used in a valentine. The sentiment and image of the jar of candies are from digital artists.

Love Birds Valentine

 

Hello again I have another Valentine card for you! I am calling it Love Birds because I used two embossing folders one with hearts and the other has birds. I colored my image using Copic markers and decided to add some little puff heart stickers for a little whimsy.

For my card I used my Copic markers, a Martha Stewart lace edge punch, a Fiskars corner punch called Romantique. I topped it off with a fun heart sticker and placed a 1/2 cut doily under my image. Hello friends! 

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!

My husband and I came up with a tradition for these financially difficult Christmases. We call it “Gifts of Christmases Past”, that is where we play with gifts we received in the past when we were able to afford more to give than our love to one another. For him it was dusting off the PS4, for me it was Paper Filigree,  also known as Quilling. I made a Snowflake. It is drying but I will show you all very soon. 

Today I am here to share the card I made today. I had this flower embossed in my stash for years. I was waiting for the right card to use it on, I never had the right one, so I cut it up, corner punched the corner embossed designs and added them to a new card design using this cute image from Oddball Art Co by Lizzy Love. I probably had that large heart in my stash even longer, topped it with some cute heart stickers I received from a Pen Pal friend. The sentiment I bowed the paper out to lift it off the page more, punched the scalloped oval, and heart then using the insert from a box of Dove Chocolate I received for Valentines last year, I punched out the words to make a sentiment.
