Western themed with Pattie’s Creations

Hello friends and followers! Today I am sharing this little cutie from Patties Creations. She is the third of three images I won in the challenges at Patties Creations Challenges. When you scroll down you can find a link to the challenges on the right side bar. I grew up reading my mothers Annie Oakley books so I tried to make her my version of Annie. I added 1/2 of the Outlawz Badge Silhouette to giver her a tall dark handsome stranger in the back ground. I colored her up using my Copic markers, the plaid paper is from Fun Stampers Journey. I have been trying to practice sunsets using my Copic Markers and I think this one turned out pretty good!

I had this fantastic nautical ribbon in my stash that I knew would be perfect for this card. The image is colored using Copic markers and the sentiment is from MHK Designs.

Lifting Your Spirits

I am so pleased you have stopped by. Today I am sharing this card using two images I won last month! The first is the light house from Pattie’s Creations that I won for entering Patties Challenges it is the second of three images I won in her challenges, you can find a link to the challenge in the side bar when you scroll down on the right side, and you can find Pattie’s images at

I colored my images and background scene using Copic Markers. The sentiment is from a set of stamps I have had a while from Inky Antics and it is called Balloon Buddies. I picked it up while visiting Branson, MO back in 2012! They had a wonderful Scrapbook store there! The flag dies I used for my sentiments are in a set from Spellbinders called the Designer Series Totally You. It has stamps and dies in the set. The banner with the sequins hanging from the twine I cut with scissors before realizing I had the banner die in this set I mentioned.

Rain Boots With Tulips

Hey friends and followers! It is time for an Anything Goes Challenge on Twisted Thursday at Outlawz Challenges! This weeks twist is Anything Goes. We have a wonderful sponsor this month

For my card, I am using the digi called Rain Boots with Tulips. I found a pair of rain boots online that were similar in color that I used as a reference, coloring this image with my Copic Markers. I added in several design papers, and the beautiful lace ribbon. I cut the bird out from another design paper to add in a feathery friend.

For my card I am using the digi Dog Days of Summer. I used tips and tricks from this months July Copic marker class at Kit and Clowder to help me with my coloring of this furry friend and background. I used a clear stamp for the sentiment and the bone, and by adding a touch of Glossy accents to the shades it really made them pop from the page! Introduction

I’m Angela, the crafty gal behind Taste of Craftiness. I started this blog on February 5th, 2010. My paper crafting hobby really kicked off around 2007 when I found a guy named Marty Horn, a veteran who started Anysoldier.com In his web sites forums I found the Any soldier Card swap group. The group of ladies/gents bought or handmade cards to send to each other to include in care packages. We divided them up to have a variety of cards and we would send overseas to our chosen Anysoldier.com soldiers serving. Unfortunately, the forums were shut down, and the card swaps fizzled once we moved to a Yahoo group after almost 10 years going strong. I then joined in paper craft challenges and joined on a few paper craft design teams creating many fun challenges for others to showcase their love for the paper crafts. I have temporarily stepped down from being on a design team and went back to a 9-5 job which has created the pause in my blog postings. I do hope to find a regular crafty routine again, and dust off those Copic markers, use up this mound of design papers I have accumulated and let nothing go to waste!
