Anysoldier 4th of July Card Swap
These cards turned out so cute, don't ya think! I had so much help with coloring the images. I am so thankful for my family and friends for helping me rush to get this project finished. You cannot tell by this photo but these all had glossy accents on their hat, nose, eyes, and some of the flags. I used up some of the firecrackers I had from last years swap and I am very pleased with how they turned out. I ran out of bears so I whipped up a few more cards without bears to reach the goal of 20 cards. The Anysoldier.com card swap is where a group of men & women get together and swap cards to place into care packages that we each send over to the Military. If your interested in checking it out, check out the swap here!

Anysoldier Summertime Fun Card Swap
Received my set of cards back from the Anysoldier Summertime Fun/ Memorial Day card swap! Such a special group of men & women that share their cards and letters for each of us to send to our soldier units of choice. The swaps really bring me great internal happiness to know I am helping make someone's day a little brighter. When you are a stay at home mother yet the kids are teenagers it really helps in any way that you can to try and regain some self worth by helping so many others. I have really enjoyed making cards and sending packages to our military servicemen and women it has really brought me some inner peace as I hope it has brought them some happiness as well.

Graduation Card
Did you get my doodle of the cap & diploma? If not you should! Here's the card I created using my doodled cap, turned into a Cricut cut file, then using my Sure Cuts A Lot software to cut out. On this card I wanted to give it some dimension so I cut the top of one cut out cap and layered it onto another cut out cap. One card down and two more to make! Congrats to all the Grads of 2011!

Independance Day Accessories
What a fun project! This was my first attempt at using Glossy Accents so I still have some learning to do to get it to not have bubbles. I plan on wearing it for Independence Day! :D I found it to be a fun project that even kids could do! I found this tutorial at CDAC.

Toadily Happy Easel Card
I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day! Whether your a new Mother, a grandmother, or maybe your babies are furry friends. I hope you had a fulfilling and happy weekend! But now my favorite day of the week is here! It is Monday! Woo-Hoo! What is so great about Monday, you ask. It is time for the Greeting Card Challenge at The Outlawz! Once again I have created a card using scraps. This time my scraps are from frogs that I cut out last Spring 2010. I have been going crazy over what I have learned over the past month. I learned how to whip up an easel card and I had no idea how easy it is! I was so intimidated by the project. Now I can't stop wanting to make another and another! I do hope you will consider joining us over at The Outlawz and show us your stuff! :D

Dirt Bike Birthday
My daughter is so funny. She asked me to spend my day making her guy friend a birthday card instead of cleaning carpets and the rest of the chores I had planned for the day. ;) So, I spent my day fussing with the Cricut machine only to discover the reason my paper kept moving around was because I was not using my mat. Ugh! Wasted half of my last sheet of 12x24 black card stock over this. It took me that long to figure it out. Then, I was trying to make the card a dirt bike theme but with checkered flags and it wasn't turning out, I didn't take in consideration the silhouette of the dirt biker would not stand out. Black on black. So I went another route. But when my daughter gets home she doesn't like that I placed a bow on it and the fact that the background was a light blue sparkly paper. So she left it behind only to return to pick the card back up. She was afraid it would be to girly and that he wouldn't like it. But since they already new about it of course they wanted to at least see it and decide for them selves. She said he really liked it.
