Whipped up this Panda Tire cover using my Silhouette Cameo machine for the Panda lover. Isn't it cute! It is going on this black and white jeep for someone who hopes to be a Panda Veterinarian one day. :)

Anysoldier Summer Card Swap 2016
Anysoldier.com Card Swap Summer 2016 event has arrived! It was time to whip up my set of 20 cards real quick like before checking my post office to see who has sent me cards for the swap. I decided since participation has dwindled from about 20 participants to less than 10 that I would make 20 cards but in 4 different designs. I didn't want to add a lot of fufu stuff, in hopes to keep them simple enough for a soldier to just write in and send to their loved ones. I colored them with your typical Crayola brand colored pencils in a hurry so don't look for the imperfections please. :)

Deco Rubber Gloves
My first attempt at creating decorative rubber gloves. I joined the pen pal wagon on Facebook and one of my pen friends sent me some chain letters. In each letter you are to send different items to the first person on the list. You remove their name from the list move the 2nd name up and place your name as the 2nd name. Eventually you should receive a pair of gloves or whatever the item is in the chain letter. In this case, it is rubber gloves. At first thought I was like rubber gloves? Why? But then I researched Pinterest for ideas to make your ordinary rubber glove extraordinary!
I found the gloves at Dollar Tree, the ribbon and tulle were purchased at Hobby Lobby, and the table cloth fabric I used was from a table cloth I purchased at Wal-Mart.

Fifi at The Outlawz
Over at The Outlawz in their Progressive Freebie Challenge they gave this adorable image to play with for the May challenge. I colored with copic markers add tulle, pink ribbon, some glitter to her wings, outline her eyes with a fine tip black pen, and dotted with a white speck to give her eyes more dimension.

Break A Leg
This card I designed for a friend who recently injured her leg. I seem to have had a few friends have either foot, leg or knee surgery in the last few months. I have a box full of scrap papers dating back to when my card making hobby began in 2008. With every card I make, I pick through my scrap paper stash and try to put together papers that one might not normally put together just to use up this large scrap stash. It seems to have worked out well so far. I still have a lot of papers to use up, but after the last few cards I have created by using my stash I am able to get the lid back on to the box again. Yay!
For this card I handdrawn a leg, cut it out to wrap in ribbon, that was the hardest part of the entire process. Trying to find the right ribbon to look like a cast, most everything else I used in the card was already pre cut no trimming needed except the flowery paper had to be trimmed up evenly. I embellished with some heart and dragonfly stickers, added some little lines to show the flight path of the dragonfly. I found these tiny little flowers that I have saved from a punch I used and tacked them on with a dot of glue. I ended up putting a center dot of pink in each flower and added sparkly gems on each corner of the inside sentiment piece.
I think it turned out ot be a fun colorful Get Well Soon card.

Happy Good Friday!
It is a great Friday I had a chance to whip up an Easter Card! Using some scraps here and there I whipped up a quick card for the Progressive Freebie Challenge over at The Outlawz Challenges. I felt a little funky so I glammed up his glasses and gave him some stylin' fur on his ears and tummy! On the inside I felt it needed to be prettied up as well and again with some scraps I had a decorative place to write a sentiment in no time!

Orange You Glad Your My Valentine!
I thought I would have a little fun and join the card challenges again, using the image they provide, you are to make a card before the end of the month which is February in this instance or you don't receive the next image. My card is using the February image for the Progressive Freebie Challenge over at The Outlawz Challenges!
I colored my image using Copic markers, and using some fun bright orange hues and red hearts I put this little love card that you can use for Valentines or any occasion when you want to express your love for another!

Sweet Valentine
Finished up this little cutie just in time for Valentines! I received the sentiment from The Outlawz Progressive Challenge! On top of my polka dot back ground paper I have used acetate that II had embossed in my cuttlebug machine with a valentine heart sentiment folder, used some Glitter glue pens from Crayola on the antennas and colored using Copic Markers.

Love Blooms in Paris
Using the image given in The Outlawz Progressive Freebie challenge I put together this card with some Paris scrap paper, I ran a sheet of acetate through my cuttlebug to give the card more texture, added on half of a square white doily, a pretty pink ribbon and tulle. I colored the rose image using my copic markers.

Custom Monogrammed Shades
My daughter's name is Tabitha and her friends call her Tabs. She wanted a monogram of sorts and we decided on her nickname for her new shades. I was a little worried if it would cut this small on my Silhouette cameo without this special blade everyone has been raving over. I have used the same blade that came with my machine and it still turned out fantastic!

Valentines Heart Card
Yesterday, I joined The Outlawz Challenge Paper A La Mode, and my
first card of the year is this cutie patootie! I colored her with Copic
markers, used Ruby Slippers stickles on the heart she is holding, liquid
pearls on the little dots behind her, and the card cut out design is a
Silhouette Cameo file that you can find in the Silhouette store!

Color Drop
Hello crafty friends! Today for the first time I refilled a few of my Copic markers. I had one issue where the tip was so dried out it was like a rock for a good hour until I decided I would just replace the tip. I searched high and low across the internet for my issue even posted a what to do question in Copic marker Facebook group, but after 20 minutes of my post going unanswered across the web my patience grew thin and that is when I reached the decision to just change out the tip. Within seconds the ink filled the tip and I was in business. Your probably wondering what it has to do with this posted picture. As you see in the pic there are polka dots all over image. Why? One of the markers I refilled today decided as soon as I was done using it to drop a droplet of ink onto my image. At first, I was like "Grrrrr", but then I just went for it and started putting polka dots everywhere!

Personalized Black Cat Pillow Pet
Last night I decided to try my luck at personalizing a pillow pet. It turned out great! All the heat press ladies were talking about how they buy hundreds of pillow pets at a time from their local Dollar Tree. I was lucky to have found 3 left and I only took one to play with so that I could make my Great Niece her very own!

Wedding Bells Ringing
I use to be on the Digistamps4Joy design team and I had made the above card for one of the challenges. I was great at making the cards or card fronts but actually putting them into an entire card was the issue. So for this blog posting I wanted to show you how using my Silhouette Sketch pens I finished the above card with a customized greeting and signature.
