I had to make a few Sympathy cards over the last few months. I went with this design on the Silhouette Cameo.

Birthday For Him
I made this card front a few years ago. I had a bad habit of making card fronts and not the entire cards. Since joining the Show Them You Care group on Facebook I have been able to clear out some of my card stash so I can replenish with new cards. This particular card I sent to a man for his 45th birthday, he has been suffering with illness and his wife thought it would be a wonderful idea to have a card shower for him. I sure hope he liked it!

Valentines for my Valentines
Finally dusting off the Silhouette this year to make cards and these are the valentines I made for over 20 pen pals. Two lucky pen friends had chocolate candy in their cards, but one lucky girl who goes above and beyond to give to others received this card below with my favorite candy of all time!

Painted Winter Village
One of the first craft projects I ever created after I was married, was painting holiday ornaments for members of my family, and then I started on this winter village, that was back in 1995. I still have a few unpainted buildings for this town. I am sure back then I did not own a digital camera to photograph any of the items I had painted. Unfortunately, most of all my ornaments are in storage, that is another story as to why they were separated from the rest of my holiday items, but any ways, I am able to share with you my fun winter town.

Purrrfect Birthday!
Today's card posting is a Hello Kitty themed card that I made for a young lady turning 19. I sure hope she likes it, as much as I had fun making it! I received my new Silhouette Cameo pens today and since her mother said she loves Hello Kitty I figured out a way to put the Kitty onto the card and personalize just for her! I didn't stop there either I even addressed the envelope with the pens! Added a couple kitty themed stamps on the inside of the pop up birthday card and it is ready for Mr. Postman to swing by and pick it up!

Simple Thank You
Using the Silhouette Cameo I made two of these simple and to the point Thank you cards. A little washi tape and a blank address label and it is ready to for the recipient!
Sunnyside Thank You

Had a friend request two simple Thank You cards. This Thank You card is my first attempt at a simple card. I know it does not look very simplified does it? I am an over achiever. :)
For this card I used my Silhouette Cameo machine using one of their freebie card files embellished inside with some punched out flowers, an address label to write your John Hancock, some scrap strips of cardstock and some Liquid pearls. I love liquid pearls!
On the front of the card I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder, and a punch for the center cut out, plus the same flower punch and glossy accents. I decided to redo the request for a simpler card. See my next posting!

Snow Freckles
This past week I have been practicing with my copic markers, I figured I have to do something to keep busy since I am out of yarn for my Infinity scarf which is a swap that was due to be mailed yesterday! Eeek! Today I am back on track I am starting over on the scarf, gave up my search for the yarn I needed and just bought two skeins of another.
The past weeks practicing with my copics, has been fun, all while watching movies with my family. Finished this card last night using a Digistamps4Joy image, with a punch for trees, icicles, and the snowflakes, some sparkly glittery washi tape, liquid pearls for my snow dots, and some sticky backed blue gems.

Stocking Twist
I found this great idea on Pinterest! It is suppose to look like a sled. I ran out Christmas eve to the local grocery picked up two King size Kit Kat's, a bag of the small Hershey chocolate minis, and a box of candy canes! Use a Cuttlebug tag punch made some tags and with a little shipping tape, holiday bow and fun ribbon I had this completed in a matter of minutes! It was a nice change than going over board on the pocket buying bags and bags of stuff to put in stocking.

Holiday cards Received
Besides sparkly holiday lights and festive music, my favorite thing about the holidays is the mail and cards I receive! So far this year I have been blessed with great friends and family who have not forgotten to let me know that I am in their thoughts. May all of you have this same inner joy and happiness from someone who thinks and cares for you. :) Have a wonderful holiday season.

Spread Cheer with Handmade Cards
I had a few more children on my list to send cards to this year some of which are having health issues and this may very well be their last Christmas.
This season I wanted to give to others so I joined a group on Facebook called Show Them We Care and I have really been trying to do all I can which right now consists of just being able to send a handmade card.
I hope in the future to be able to help others with more needy families during the holidays especially.

Cards For Children
It has been a very crafty and productive day today. I have quite a few crochet projects going at once or on my to do list but needed to finish some cards for a group request. I joined a Facebook group called Show Them You Care. In that group a teacher posted asking for cards for her 13 children in her class. Being the handmade card maker I am and wanting to use up more of my old scrap supplies I decided to whip up some cards with holiday erasers attached for the children. I hope they like them!
