Sister in Law Birthday Card

What kind of birthday card do you make for a sister in law? This is what I have come up with during my brain storming for ideas while surfing the internet. With this card I used the Cuttlebug embossing folder for the flower design as well as the cupcake and postage stamp cut out, embellished with some beads a dragonfly stamped and powder embossed onto card stock and some ribbon.

Introduction

I’m Angela, the crafty gal behind Taste of Craftiness. I started this blog on February 5th, 2010. My paper crafting hobby really kicked off around 2007 when I found a guy named Marty Horn, a veteran who started Anysoldier.com In his web sites forums I found the Any soldier Card swap group. The group of ladies/gents bought or handmade cards to send to each other to include in care packages. We divided them up to have a variety of cards and we would send overseas to our chosen Anysoldier.com soldiers serving. Unfortunately, the forums were shut down, and the card swaps fizzled once we moved to a Yahoo group after almost 10 years going strong. I then joined in paper craft challenges and joined on a few paper craft design teams creating many fun challenges for others to showcase their love for the paper crafts. I have temporarily stepped down from being on a design team and went back to a 9-5 job which has created the pause in my blog postings. I do hope to find a regular crafty routine again, and dust off those Copic markers, use up this mound of design papers I have accumulated and let nothing go to waste!
