I decided to make this card for the Digistamps4Joy Anything Goes challenge with the twist of Spring. When I think of Spring, I think of flowers, weddings, and green grass. In my card I have the flowers, the green for the grass, and the wedding tulle with pearls to accent the corners.

Over in the Yahoo Group called Paper Crafting Friends we were challenged to Partially Die Cut a project. After many failed attempts I finally came up with this and turned it into a card!
My first attempt at the Split negative technique. It was all fine and dandy till I realized I did not have the proper color of pink in my embossing powders. Otherwise I am pleased with how it turned out.
I decided while I felt I was gaining some card making mojo back that I would whip another card up for the Digistamps4Joy challenge! For this card, I used up some of the scraps in my paper scrap box, made flowers, added a bow, some buttons to the flowers, a little liquid pearls for the polka dots, and for my bling I added some glitter to the ballerina skirt!
I have been cleaning out some old digi images this is a Dustin Pike image that I had colored up with my copic markers and turned into greeting cards to replenish my card stash that has been dwindling since becoming a pen pal last September. The card for today is using this adorable elephant who I believe is telling us he loves Spring! Challenges Entered:
I just love this image and have had it colored for years always trying to find the perfect card to place it on. Yesterday, I just let myself go and started creating a colorful card using this image and some old scraps of paper I still had on hand. I cannot bring myself to buy new papers till I use up all I have. When you need certain colors it makes it more difficult to decide where you are heading with your project. Since it has been such a beautiful week of Spring I went with bright flower paper and and flower embellishments. I added the bright sunny yellow bow and a product called liquid pearls for the adorable soap bubbles. The challenge over at Digistamps4Joy is Buttons, Bows, and Bling so I added the extra bling on the opposite corners for a little cheerful sparkle! Wish me LucK! I also joined these challenges:
Oh how I love SPRING! I even love when it rains because I know flowers will be blooming and the birds will be chirping. I love the smell of green grass freshly mowed, I love SPRING! This card made me think of a beautiful Spring day. I used a piece of scrap paper that had been reused in a cut machine for a previous project, A silhouette cameo cut out butterfly with liquid accents used for the body, along with this beautiful image from Digistamps4Joy.
I make cards every so often nowadays and today I decided to go see what my old teamies at Digistamps 4 Joy were up to. I seen they had a sketch challenge going and within about an hour I decided on this image and just went with it. I intend to add more embellishments but unfortunately my son is sleeping in my craft room these days so I had to leave it as is to get it entered into the challenge in time. Next issue my camera card does not get recognized by my computer after numerous attempts and I had to photograph with a cell phone so the quality is not so hot. :( Challenges entered: Digistamps For Joy Sketch challenge
