Premo Polymer Clay Fun

Yesterday I had a Crafty social gathering with old friends. I had Blueberry Muffins ready to snack on when they arrived for breakfast. I made them fresh chicken sandwiches, and for dessert I made for the first time Lemon Meringue Pie! We added dividers for her box of essential oils and we played with clay. These are my items from our fun filled day. It was my first try but we hope to add more items like these to my Etsy store! ;)

Mixed Mediums

Hey there friends and followers! Have you stopped over at the Outlawz Challenges and joined in the fun on Twisted Thursdays challenges? Some of you may not have known that Twisted Thursdays challenges use to be called the Mixed Medium challenge. You might notice in the title next time you are logged into the Twisted Thursday challenge page. This weeks challenge is in memory of days of the teams past.

 This weeks twist is Mixed Mediums. For my card, I used our wonderful 2017 sponsor Digistamps4Joy Flamingo digi, with some blue Acrylic paint for the water, the sky, clouds, flowers and grass were done in watercolors. I added some water sparkle with Stickles . Finished off with a strand of ribbon, flowers with pearls inside, as well as a shell that I added a pearl embellishment inside of as well.

Hey there! Today I am sharing the custom shirts I made for my 3 Great nieces! 

Bunny EOS Lip Balm Gift

My first bunny lip balm gift. I bought this .svg bunny file years ago. This year I finally decided to try it out since I joined the Easter Crochet Swap in the Friendship Crochet Group on Facebook. My first attempt below did not go so well. I trimmed it up with scissors and only used one piece of it. To fix my issues I set the Silhouette Cameo 1 setting from the recommended 3 for card stock to 5 and set it to cut twice. The results above! 

I don’t like to waste a thing, so I am going to go ahead and use it since my theme for this gift is in lavender. I added google eyes, had to draw in my own whiskers, and cut a heart from some scrap papers. 

Here they are completed. I will definitely make more of these. So very simple and a great addition to any gals Easter basket!

For my card I am using a technique inspired by one of the Design Team from one of our 2017 sponsors and one of this months Pot of Gold Prize sponsors, Through The Craft Room Door. It was in their January - February 2018 issue. It is using tissue paper  entered in the magazine by Deonna Bemish.
