Kickin' up the dust Western Style!

Howdy! We sure hope y'all will stop in at The Outlawz to kick up some dust with us and are willing to step into this here boot scootin' fun challenge! January has been a month full of fun creative challenges to kick off your mojo for 2012. I hope it has worked!

What else is brewing this month you may ask? I will tell you! The Outlawz turned a year old and we are celebrating with a Greetings Anniversary challenge, western style! That's right, saddle those horses and get to the barn dance to wish a Happy Birthday to each and everyone who continue to make this Greetings challenge a success!

Spring/Easter Anysoldier Card Swap

Here's the 20 cards I created for the Spring/Easter card swap! I used Anne Fenton's image for 19 of the cards for my Easter image. I was able to practice using my Copic markers and I recruited my daughter to help color them! :D 

The first card that was finished we embellished up with ribbon to show what this card can look like with just a little more added to it. I decided to keep them less bulky to send to the swap group.

National Nothing Day!

It is a weird holiday indeed and we worked it into our challenges at The Outlawz. Come celebrate America's National Nothing day with us and show us your Nothing But A Sentiment card in The Greetings Challenge!

I am so very excited, today I was promoted to the Administrative team at The Outlawz! I want to thank all the members of the Outlawz for making me feel at home with my crafting abilities there. I also want to thank all the ladies on the Design Teams that have inspired me to join my first card creating challenges. And last but not least, I want to give a HUGE thank you to Colleen for believing in me for her design team in the Greeting Card Challenges, and once again having faith in me to be  an Administrator for one of the greatest crafty challenge sites on the world wide web!

Calendar Fun.. I can't stop Myself!

Oh why didn't I think of this last year? These calendars are such a simple and great idea! I redesigned the calendar I made for The Outlawz Copic Challenge. I changed the ribbon and gave him some patterned paper that I added photo corners so that each month can be changed. I have two calendars in the making so far.

Tag Your it!

I was inspired by  the CAS Challenge at The Outlawz to research gift tags. I discovered a page from Tim Holtz his 12 tags of Christmas. I didn't have all the products he used but I was inspired and here are the ones I created for the Tag theme in CAS. I don't think they really fall in the category of CAS but I had to show them off! :D

 It is Sandi's Ballerina from the CFC Challenge at The Outlawz! Here is the card I created for the challenge. You have to see these beautiful hand drawn images these ladies created! Very talented to say the least!

HM Calendar Jan 2013

House Mouse stamps are some of my very favorite! Over at Paper Craft Planet they are challenging us in the HM & Friends Group to use our HM (House Mouse) stamps to make a calendar to be finished by the end of year to give as a gift next holiday season. In my calendar I added photo corners to a piece of scrap paper so that the months can be changed out using the one page.

Happy 1st Birthday to The Outlawz!

The Outlawz is celebrating it's 1st Birthday! What a super fun crafty year it has been at The Outlawz. We have made a lot of new crafty friends and with 1428 members as of today the proof is before you that The Outlawz is the place to stop to be inspired, learn a tip or two, and make a lot of happy crafty friends!

Calendars at The Outlawz

What a fun crafty project to do through the year! My New Years resolution just happened to be to make one handmade Christmas present a month so that by next Christmas I will have 12 gifts to give. This fabulous challenge at The Outlawz couldn't have been a better idea! I wish I would have thought of it! But I will be playing with the gals in the Copic Challenge!
