I recently had a coworker put in her two weeks' notice. I thought after all the aggravation she endured she deserved a bottle of wine and a card like this if I had not been on vacation during her departure. LOL!

Dot Painting Notebook Take 2

 

I have been admiring many dot paintings on Facebook and Pinterest and have had the urge to try it out for myself. I had these boring black notebooks that I have written work notes into and I decided they needed a face lift. I have a Christmas project in mind, so I am practicing with those colors and different paints.

This was a fun project. It was not easy staying in circles with the beveled edges on this bottle but I think it turned out pretty good!

It is time for the May Twisted Thursday Challenge at The Outlawz Challenges! This month the twist is Board Games. For my card I had this fantastic crossword puzzle design paper I picked up at a garage sale, added in some fun arrows, the minion stickers to create a scene of game playing direction, the fun candy stickers like Candyland and starting with his adventure pack, maybe he needed a light to possibly enter a cave. The pirate could be fighting a monster in a castle like Dracula Minion at the top and once he completes the quest he will be at the stars to represent the finish!

For my card I am using this fun design paper in the colors of our challenge. i paper punched the flowers, and did some embossing. I dotted the centers of the flowers with liquid pearls and using a fun clear cling butterfly stamp for an added extra fun design from Inkadinkado.

I had so much fun putting this basket together for my daughter, she is 30. Honestly who doesn't like to receive a special gift? I have all the best goodies tucked away inside and this adorable plush bunny!

This months challenge is another inspiring one for me with the fun colors and and a special holiday coming in little over a month I decided to choose a bow for my letter B, and the colors kind of went their own way in my copic marker coloring, so I tried to stay with the theme for the design papers! :)
